is this even needed for an update from 4.34.4x to 4.35.1x?

Forget BMW_ISPI_ISTA-DATA_de-DE_4.35.11.istapackage and use directly BMW_ISPI_ISTA-DATA_de-DE_4.35.12.istapackage from the OP link.

Cannot used sedoys version. I have linix and from linux have virtual boxes. On virtual box windows but ista is not activating. All 8?

Other pcs no prob. Important is to have on main pc. Can buy too if anyone sells that files you mention above.

4.31 was in this machine and working. Not computer guy, cannot distinguish them.

Joke? Every second day? I requested license only one time (and there are people who requested many times) you can check in your thread. Saw that it did not work on virtual box and searching alternative ways, even buying.

Make 1 or 2 with Windows and problem solved...

Never said vb on 8 laptops. You siad buy computer. I said already have 8 laptops but ista is needed on server pc not on that laptops. 
Buying laptop or ista is not problem for me.

Why on server when you have problems.

Install ista on 2 windows laptop from your 8 and problem solved and it works stabel....
