Hello Guys,

I am looking for virgin 'SIM4L KE' ECU flash file.

Siemens VDO
Old ECU: A271 153 84 79 - 5WK90525
Replaicing ECU: A271 153 22 91 - 5WK90538

Replacing ECU is taken from a used car and has already VIN number and other coding stored in it. I want to transfer my car's details into this one.

Car details:
Mercedes Benz C180K
MY May 2005
Engine M271.946
Transmission 722.695

Here you go, dont forget to put the variant coding string from the old one to the new one using sds

So this file will be ok in the replacing ECU with variant coding (I guess is SCN coding - online or offline ?) ?

No no need for scn coding, go to control unit adaptations then coding according to factory data then variant coding and u can see a coding string there just write it down and then install the virgin ecu, then perform teach in drive authorization and then repeat the above steps to enter the old coding string.

Hello Ghassan,

I loaded virgin ECU bin file on the 29F800BB flash and when following ECU replacement procedures with DAS I went into errors where one of the problems was VIN number for what I remember and after the second error I lost the communication with the ECU.

May you please help me with step-by-step procedures on how to proceed with ECU replacement ? (the above described test was made with the old ECU).
For the replacing ECU that has a different PN and different code (5WK90538 instead of 5WK90525) that I found written in the dump using hex editor will it be a problem when loading virgin bin image ?

Hello, if u already have the original ecu you can simply copy the data to the new ecu and all will be fine.

That is what i did, but with automatic DAS procedure of ECU swap the process stopped and couldn't finish it. Do i have to do it manually?

Yes i mean copy the data from the 29f800 from the old one to the new one or just swap them simply
