Hi friends 


I crashed audi A4 b8 (2011) with AFS headlights. I couldn't find AFS headlights so install bi-xenon headlights. Find a tutorial to deactivate but i don't understand how to do it. 


We start by removing the fuses AFS right and left headlights (2x 5A) 


Here is the tutorial: 


1) Go to Central Electronics 09 and code it for Xenon Only Should be currently a 3, change it to 2, should be like this (0xx2xxx)

2) Go to Instruments 17 and remove the AFS by subtracting 64 from the first 4 digits i changed (2129XXX) to (2065XXXX)

3) Go to CAN gateway 19 and remove headlight range 55. This can be done in coding or install list

4) Now turn off your vehicle and disable the instrument cluster fuse 15 (10A), wait a few seconds and reinsert it. 


5) Turn on your car, the error should now go away and the ECU will no longer think AFS is installed.

How to do for steps 1 and 2 ?

Hi dear friend Icardiag, thank you for the information, by searching and reading I understood that the coding was different from where my problem.

I would have to find the correct byte and bit in modules 09 and 17

I will still try to walk through the long coding of modules 17 and 09 to see every byte.
