Android Auto VO Code
Hi there
May i know if there is a specific VO code for Android Auto? I know it works for MGU only. For example, for Apple Carplay is 6CP. Wondering if there is one for Android Auto? No there is not.

My car does not have 6CP but both carplay and andoid auto work.

I`m also curious. In one car from 2019 with MGU in Connected Drive->Apps there is CarPlay and Android Auto on the other from 2018 with MGU there is only CarPlay and no Android Auto. Both cars have 6AK-Connected Drive Services.
So I want to enable Android Auto on the one from 2018 but don`t know what I need (just coding or FSC).

6U3 is the option code. Usually need to re-program HU and TCB and update services

Android auto also requires and istep of 20-07-53x or later, which is when it was added.
It also only supports MGU ( idrive 7) cars. Idrive 6 cars never got support . As mentioned you have to visit a dealer, as there’s an FSC for it |
