Does anyone know of such software exists. I know the engines are equiped with An EProm chip.
Looking for software to diagnose and adjust settings / framenumber etc.

Yes i understand there is software out there that requires a Bluetooth dongle.

But person i spoke to is not willing to say which software it was….

As the e-bike market is going crazy and e-bike sales in europe are exceeding scooter sales there must be people that have it…
I know for the Chinese it exists but for Bosch i cant find it

Be able to read your Bosch eBike data, diagnostic and update without a physical USB dongle.

This patches create a virtual dongle after the app launch (about 5 s).

Bosch, your security scheme is PWNED. 
Shame on you trying to lock out your users. We fight back for our rights
to configure and repair ourself the bike we own. 

We are fed up with companies like you always trying to make more money: something is not working? Buy a new one.

You know your batteries have weaknesses on the electronic boards, but you don't want us to repair them. 

This time is over. We want open hardware, software, we want manufacturers to embrace ecology state of mind. 

Recycle, reuse, repair. Be opened.

Remember Bosch Diagnostic Tool communicates with Bosch servers, it will track any usage of the software.


GDPR:
The diagnostic tool is also very intrusive, does not seem to be GDPR compliant. 
Bosch, shame on you again. 
Why do you dump your resellers computers content? 
Why scanning all the installed drivers, all the installed softwares?

This patch also removes that (system dump).



How to patch:
Make sure you have installed BoschDiagnosticTool v7.5.3.0 
(link in attachment)

1- Go to C:\Programme Files(x86)\Bosch DiagnosticTool\bin
2- Replace all jar files and folders with the files provided here. 

If you want to save the original files, copy them into ANOTHER directory. 
Do not just rename original files in the original directory.

If the files are not writable, try to kill Bosch Lock Service. 
After the patching, you need to restart your computer if you killed Bosck Lock Service.

Compatibility:
    

* HMI:
        - all known displays are supported (Intuvia, Purion, Kiox, Nyon2)
    
* DU:
        - all known motors are supported (Gen2 to 4)
    
* Battery:
        - all batteries (classic, PowerPack, PowerTube) are supported
    
* BCT:
        - the bosch battery tester is supported
    
* ABS:
        - ABS is not yet supported


Enjoy!
Just launch the app. 
You'll see the splash screen, then the window asking to plug the usb dongle. 

Wait 5s for the virtual dongle to become active. 
Once active, the dongle screen will disappear.
