XZBMW  BMW E53 v8 very low idle
Hi all, need your advise. Have E53 BMW 440i 2003 with a very low idle rpm -> around 500rpm

On idle car catch camshaft error and start to shake. Sensor its new, all air hoses are replaced or checked.

How to rise them to 750rpm? It's possible with map or need to play with INPA (do not have any experience with it).

Always happy to help biggrin

Hello, it is indeed +- 600~550 rpm in stock maps when Engine is > 39,75*C, i could raise it in Your ecu, post bin filesmile
Inpa will do it but it will not last.

Here 750 rpm idle above 20*C checksums fixed no pass smile

Kisu1337, thank you for file and time but I can't use it. I'm afraid to brick this ECU. Following Winols help (For the tuner the problem appears, that a readout original file is possibly not valid any more after the next starting of the engine, because the data in the flash eprom has changed) found out that car cannot be started after read. Today I read car once again, and file is different than first read. I was forced to use Protocol 216 from BMW e91 ME9.2.2 (pls check photo)

Do you have experience with those ECU's? It's safe to write first mod file when engine was started? I'd like to test it but if it's failed my friend will kill me...

Checked uncle google and there is very little about this ecu and protocol 216.
