Bmw 520D immo problem
Hi all, this car belongs to a friend, it is intermittent non starter, immo is flashing on the dash, it doesn't even crank, he's checked almost everything, keys are fine and the car is recognising the keys, if it is left sitting for a while it starts again OK, is immo off possible on this car ? Cheers all.

Thanks, I noticed your response to the other bmw immo thread, if he gets a matching numbers ecu will swapping the eeprom be ok to start the car ?, cheers

Where can I get emulator for this car, I have looked in carlab but they only have for ews 2+3, I believe this car is ews4, 2006

If you have same numbers ecu, write eprom and align with diag

Cheers all. In my opinion, if you are not sure, you should diag ECU and CAS first, specially when car fails to start, and do a test on the comms lines with ISTA for example.
