valvetronic problem in F30 335i
Hi.
I have a problem with valvetronic in my 335i 2014. The car engine is working. Valvetronic gives the clicking noise and this errors appears when I scan the car with ISTA 135608 Valvetronic system: no movement identified 135808 Valvetronic servomotor, position sensors, electrical: Malfunction So I purchased the next valvetronic motor, and when I connect it to the car I can see that valvetronic is working (spinning) but I still have this error: 135808 Valvetronic servomotor, position sensors, electrical: Malfunction Even when I completly disconnect the plug from valvetronic i still have the same error: 135808 Valvetronic servomotor, position sensors, electrical: Malfunction with additional error from disconnected valvetronic: 135B11 Valvetronic servomotor, activation, volt phase: Line disconnection I expected that this error 135808 will dissappear after the valvetronic disconnection, but it still is. Maybe someone have similar problem and can help. Also when I try to activate the valvetronic (the one mounted in engine which gives the clicking noise) i can see the message that voltage is to low (under 13 V), even if I connect 50A power supply to the car. Best regards. Mariusz |

RE: valvetronic problem in F30 335i
This is a "known" issue at BMW.
Line break (sensor lines) between DME and Valvetronic servomotor. Plug connection, contact error. Valvetronic servomotor has one or more defective Hall sensors. measure Carry out diagnosis with ISTA. Follow the diagnosis. First repair: Replace Valvetronic servomotor. Second repair: Replace Valvetronic servomotor and eccentric shaft. Third repair: Replace cylinder head. |
