Retrofit highline cluster W639 Vito
Hello friends,
I have installed Highline cluster in my 2005 Vito w639 together with the multifunction steering wheel and the wiring. I virginised the used cluster eeprom, after that I adapted the cluster with Xentry 2014 without scm coding (because my Xentry is offline). All is working as supposed (very nice upgrade ), however there still is a BRAKE light. Please check photo. What do I need to code to remove the big brake light? I'm aware that the newer VITO's have different ABS pump, but isn't it just possible to code the brake light out? Regards |

RE: Retrofit highline cluster W639 Vito
You need to read coding from your original cluster with Vediamo or DTS,
then do code matching manually in the new cluster. As you know they are different generation, something in the new cluster that do not exist or not function in your car that need to disable or change to something else in coding. That's what I did in 2007 W204 W212 retrofit 2013/2014 cluster. I'm not familiar in W639 but when I read into the coding they are different. |
