E70 CCC update failed with ISTA-P and ICOM A+B
Hello,
I have an issue, ISTA-P failed to update my CCC and now idrive is stuck on BMW logo. I have a genuine ICOM Next A unit, but the B unit is a china clone It works on first modules with "DIAGBUS" mode, but BO and CCC-A on MOST fails It seems there is random communication errors... coAPI7444 once, coAPI 7047, coAPI 7922 ... always with "communication problems" I tried to flash BO with WinKFP (after configuring it on MOST async b625) in expert mode following tutorials, and it also failed at 16% ... Any help would be very appreciated. I guess it must be flashed with ICOM A+B and can't be done with K+DCan usb as it is on MOST... ? Thank you Edit : retried WinKFP and it failed at 18% now... I will try another network cable just in case... but everything else than MOST worked for update... |

CCC is a nightmare in general
 It's also a rule of thumb, that if you have ICOM Next A you should use "black" MOST adapter, not the one with orange cap. If you don't have any MOST ring errors, then seems that MOST adapter might be a problem in your case. At this stage I would give it a try with K+D Can. It is not advised due to MOST, but some claim that they had sucess with this set-up. Personally I've never tried, but you don't have much to loose here. You can always look for CCC repair DVD, there are plenty of intructions how to do it. Fairly easy process. |

Back to life ! Edit : I did a full ISTA+ check of the car and tested all MOST loop with it. All communication is OK, all MOST componant answered... It is probably my China B clone (with orange cap) |
