Hi all,
i have heard that is possible to gain some "stock power" just by uploading in ECU of an 2.2 cdi the software from 2.5 cdi. some mechanics say that 2.2 and 2.5 are exactly the same engine and is limited just by the software (136hp, 170hp, 201hp... etc)

is that true?

if YES, do you know where i can find an stock 2.5cdi file?

now i have 2.2cdi with 136hp.... would be super if this way work (up to 201hp, just without stage 1 and then stage 1 up to 230hp)

The block size for the E200, E220 and E250 CDI is all 2.2 liters, but the injectors and turbo's are different. So just uploading another ECU program will not work without rebuilding the entire engine.
But the E200 can be optimized quite a lot if done properly by making a custom tuning file for the specific car NOT by using a tuning box or standard file.
