voltage on car injectors
Hi friends, do you have to use an oscilloscope to view the voltage on car injectors in volts? or even a simple multimeter thanks for the replies

In normal operation, yes, you MUST have an oscilloscope. Normally pulses on injectors have lengths less than 1ms. No multimeter will show TRUE voltage for that.

That said it COULD be possible using diagnosis, but that will depend on injector type: piezo, electromagnetic, etc. Some engine control units will allow to switch injectors on for longer time periods using diagnostic equipment, but unless you are SURE that it is allowed, you will have NO way to tell whether you do not get voltage because it's not allowed or it does not work.
