I assume you are just trying to change from MPH to km/h?
In that case pry off the needles using trim tools, once they are all off on both clusters swap the faceplate. Then reset the stepper motors by feel and press down the needles again. |

In some IKE from e46 VIN can be changed with Pa Soft (memory dependent - M35080 or 93S66), then you do not need to disassemble IKE. Unless you have to change the mileage, then you have to disassemble and read the eeprom memory with a programmer, e.g. R270. Coding, of course, using NCS. If you already have another IKE / COMBI, enter the number - I will tell you what eeprom memory contains.
