Advise on GM MDI interface and GDS software from ebay
I need to get a dealer interface and dealer software to repair a vauxhall insignia 2013 with stiff steering.
Got an clone opcom but it won't read all modules and I also need something that has guided diagnostice and programming capability I see there are clone MDI and used original MDIs on sale on eBay. I also see dealer software SAAB + Opel Vauxhall GlobalTis GM MDI V32 36 + Remote Install Via Teamviewer on ebay. Any advise on these? Do these clones work or do I buy a used original? Will and original work with non dealer distributed software? This is a one off repair and I don't want to spend money unnecessarily since too will be useless after this repair. Opel is not sold in this country. I will appreciate guidance on the best approach. |

you can use (if you have) a lot of good pasthrou...
i use 2021 version of GDS in vm with a scanmatic 2 pro as passthrou and work well...... you can also buy a license for GDS is affordable price.... |

But you can buy a license for 1h from PSA ServiceBox website, and then add a licence file to have it running natively. Much faster and easier than having to launch VM every time |

I have a good clone MDI for sale on eBay, been using it for 2 years no issues with online or v32b and gds2
