In addition my engine control module was flashed with a different firmware name (svm) so if you want to flash offline you need the TPI information. Not everything is black or white. back to trouble shooting: having some similar issues you should try to change some codings and apply. then change codings back to original values and reapply. test if this fixes your issue. This worked for me a couple of times. it is a firmware update glitch. 2. if above does not work check codings. some codings options may have changed and you need to choose the correct seat heating coding. 3. check fuse of seat heating 4.. if the above do not work, but first do steps 1,2,3, check if there are older firmwares between your older and newer and reflash. Having flashed my HVAC to latest was fine even though TPI was only applicable to later MY audi B8s but still same family (B8). Actually there was a higher number than in TPI (one number higher) also available than what was mentioned in the TPI so I flashed with newest but was very near to number mentioned in the TPI. NOTE BECAUSE THERE WAS NO RHD FIRMWARE I USED LHD BUT HARDWARE WAS SAME AFTER VISUAL EXAMINATION. @Sixcode recommendation was visual exam. Also flashed PDC control module with newer firmware part name made a year later still for B8 and was ok (different hardware PN) but will not try this again because its risky. Same PR-code though and same specs. |
