Which battery charger/power supply for coding and flashing?
Hi, I have a question for you guys, what battery charger/power supply do you use for coding and flashing?
I currently have a Ctek pro25s 25A with suplly mode.... Have any of you done a vehicle update with this unit or would it be better to get a more powerful one? I think just to code it will probably do, but what about flashing/updating? I drive a F11 LCI Best regards |

No charger needed for coding. I use Schumacher 700A for flashing.

RE: Which battery charger/power supply for coding and flashing?
I'm looking at a Meanwell RSP-1000-15 for flashing my F11 LCI - It's an industrial PSU so should be good enough and from a reputable manufacturer rather than a cheap Chinese import option from Amazon/Aliexpress.
I'd love a proper unit but with most being around 500 EURO+, it's too expensive for "single use". 25 AMP is well below the BMW recommended current though. |
