Hi all,
I got g30 bkombi cluster with dead eeprom, managed to read it before it died, but ID was not read. So now new eeprom in cluster works but has red dot near mileage and error unknown eeprom version. Anything i can do?

write data to new eeprom by vvdi prog and is done i do it yesterday successfully

I think it doesnt work without red dot if you cannot write the same id to vvdi eeprom

If you don't have VVDI or other programmer , it will be impossible.

Try the variant offered by BMW Explorer (link attached).

Use a new EEPROM, flash KOMBI with their software .... red dot gone.

For this instruction, you must have an explorer and the necessary license to erase id eeprom

Explorer for now not erase ID Page in Gxx Kombi,
for me in this kombi will remain red dot for now

New EEPROM = new ID = red dot --> because of dismatch new EEPROM ID and stored (old) EEPROM ID
