Hi All,

I hope I can get what I want this time - a custom remap. I am not too sure ownhow to re-map cars other than deleting egr and dpf and fault codes etc...

I have an e92 355d with a current ecu tune with just a egr and dpf delete

I am looking for an economy map - YES ECONOMY! 

I currently have the following simple mods
EGR DELETE
DPF DELETE
SWIRLFLAP DELETE
UPGRADED INTERCOOLER

Please can i have a custom tune for the economy - I need more MPG NOT HORSES (although i appreciate i will gain some!) - I also had someone map in  'pops and bangs' but i didn't seem to get it to 'work' and he didn't really tell me which rpm range to hit :/ - please can this be added at 3k

i mean that you ori file (e92 335d partial read original.zip) is not ori, bmw doesn't run at 1640 rail pressure, and also injection time is edited and other limitations like torque and ovp... that is not an original bmw file.

maybe rail pressure is raised due to smoking on cold engine after start .

I agree with user angel

- your "original read" is clearly NOT a stock file
- your "original read" is NOT a good tuningfile
- imho your bad mpg is caused from cheated injection timing even in low rpm
- my suggestion is to revert back to a real STOCK file and start modding from scratch.

I've "corrected" your file in a way it should give you better mileage while driving in city. This for sure, your car will feel less powerful.

Pop&bang is not possible, this is a diesel engine. Hardcut effect on revlimiter, yes.

ori bmw for flashing with winkfp, or ori virtual read, what do you prefer?


all dtc off, speed limiter decreased to 206km/h..... who made that file?

lool thank you all for your responses so far. I was not aware that my original read was never a stock map.


since my possession, i have had a dpf,egr and swirl flap delete and that was the only thing i mapped into the "original" file. ( i read using red v2 kess)

I will try the maps you guys have provided - thanks again!

MY aim for a map is to...

Have a Stock map with the following:

DPF, EGR, SWIRL FLAP DELETE
To Take into consideration a bigger intercooler
I want no speed or rev limiter
hoping for a hardcut limiter effect at 3k revs
WITH OFC the aim for economy map rather than leaving black smoke when dusting opps

PS THIS IS MY CURRENT MAP WHICH IS WORKING GOODFOR ME (NO ERRORS) EXCEPT MAXIMUM 34MPG MAX!!

Thanks for this, so what rail pressure do they normally run at? why is this map bad?

I would like to know as it seems interesting to know why my car is running how it is - the car does pull like a train tho

Your davinci patch with my previous free file, if patch is correct, it will work, i've no time to check. Don't put noread tag in files if you want help...
