  Is there a way to replace the telematic unit while keeping the same ESIM details?
If not, how is it possible to program a working ESIM in these replacement units? Can it be done using ODIS S or E?

Can only use brand new OCU, need original VAS6154 and official Geko.

Using a brand new unit is fine, its how to configure it is the issue
I have original VAS6154, and only through Geko its doable? 

Unfortunately, our dealer wont help as they don't service cars that are not bought from their shops

Why do you want to swap the OCU?
ID4 2021 is a guarantee in the event of a defect.
A new OCU must be taught in online (Geko).
If your dealer doesn't want it, there are others.

So let me give you a background on why our dealer (only one in our country) doesn't want to service the car
This ID4 was bought from China, and the dealer only deals with Volkswagen cars from Europe from their shop. Unfortunately, our only choice is to service it using what we have.
That's why I am asking on some details on how to deal with this.
