Hoping someone can help with this.

Carried out some coding today on a pre-lci E60 fitted with LM2

Car came fitted with halogens from factory.

Car owner has fitted halogen LCI headlamps and LCI tail lights.

The owner of the car contacted me in regards to coding the car for him. I added +MUEB to the VO and default coded the LMA and this appeared to have the lights working correctly.

Forgot to test the main beams and car owner has now stated the main beams don’t work post coding.

I assume this is a wiring error?

Any help would be appreciated.

No. I was informed cars that come with LM2 from the factory didn’t need a newer time stamp just the +MUEB added to the VO

U can try it with a new time stamp.
I retrofit a pre-LCI E91 with Halogen to LCI E91 Halogen. Only what I need is the Headlights, FRM2/3 and new time stamp in NCS.

E9x and E6x are two different cars. you should not compare anything between them when it comes to LCI retrofit.

for E6x the LM2 must be coded with +MUEB and at least #0305 ( up to LCI year but not including).

for this particular case with non LCI to LCI halogen retrofit i always has this issue even if i coded correctly - > high bean would not work

what i would suggest is to code the car for LCI (not LCI retrofit) and high beams will work, then code the car for LCI retrofit and compare the two TRC files

-> if you code the car for LCI ( #0909 with NO +MUEB) then the reverse lights won t work and the RLS will throw error - you can overcome this by custom coding

-> if you code the car for LCI retrofit ( #0305 with +MUEB) then everything works except the high beam



either way your solution is custom coding if you want to have everything work correctly !

Just wondering would this be possible I have a 2007 LCI E61 with halogens.

Could I compare the TRC from my car with the car that has the high beam issue with the retrofit?

Manually code the change into the LMA, I do this all the time as it happens most of the time. I can't remember what I change but it's probably this set to 0%
