Add a resistor of variable pot to the exhaust pressure sensor.
I like things on my car to work as designed, I hate poor quality control and it seems this is the problem I'm faced with DPF pressure sensors. I'm now waiting got a 2nd one from BMW as the one they sent read 4mb without being connected, just ambient so it should read 0mb. I've tried a pair of Febi, they were even higher readings.
Mines drifted to a negative value, only a little but as soon as it drops below 0millibar it reads -8192 and will log an error.

Does anyone know what I would need to connect to the loom and to what wires so I can tweak it to zero?

This is the newtis diagram.

Thanks.

I don't understand where do you see a problem here. DDE allows +-50mbar relative to ambient without any problem. These are NOT precision scientific instruments. And they are not supposed to be. Just merely a VERY CRUDE sensor to detect clogged DPF.

IMHO 4mbar reading on unconnected sensor is actually VERY GOOD.

Duly noted, I'll see what the net one reads and go from there.
