reset coding to factory BMW f30
hello,
so over the years i have coded different options on my car ('12 F30 328i) and i'm pretty sure somewhere along the line i messed one or two things up, resulting in my airbag light to stay on for Yaw rate sensor. So my question is, whats the best way to go about reseting everything back to stock factory. I did some VO coding as well (adding sport transmission). Thanks for any help in advance. |

You can load that up in E-Sys and then VO code all modules. Another option is to use one of the various VIN decoders online and compare to your current FA option codes and adjust accordingly. Thanks + reputation if I helped you.

RE: reset coding to factory BMW f30
you can also restore your modified FA by checking your options online, and then removing/reverting all the changes manually in E-sys

RE: reset coding to factory BMW f30
usually yaw rate sensor fault due to adding something with the navigation in my experience. The original coding used 2 wires for ACSM to ICM and after coding needed the 4 wire.
