rear fog does turn on (in the light that is part of the trunk / boot) so should not need cables there.

Do you have any details on what cables are needed for the outer tail lamp.

So far I got everything working except the outer tail lamp indicator, brake  light / DRL goes on, only indicator in the outer lamps doesnt work

BDC connector A258*5B pin 19 to left tail light pin 2 (if it is taken switch that cable to pin 5 and connect from BDC to pin 2)
BDC connector A258*5B pin 11 to right tail light pin 5 (if it is taken switch that cable to pin 2 and connect from BDC to pin 5)

Apologies, this is a bit hard to understand, please confirm my understanding.

My passenger side tail outer tail light has 3 cables going into it, pins 1,2 and 4.

Do I simply swap pin 2 with pin 5 and then on the other side, switch 5 to 2 ?

I have the North American tail light, so i just need to do this on the tail light connector side?

now after fog lights coding when you press brakes your turn signal lights up on tail light, that's why you need to swap pins in tail light connectors.

BDC connector from which you need to route new wires to tail lights see in photo:

Thanks for the clarification.

So as I understand, after reviewing other diagrams of wiring etc, when coding rear fogs, this makes the light ECE style which enables PIN 11 and 19 for the flashing indicator lamp / "direction indicator" on connector A258*5B

Currently, as a NA car, our indicators and brake lights are controlled by PINs 10 and 32

So essentially enabling rear fogs is the same thing as attempting a Euro tail light conversion

see wiring comparison of the two tail light types attached, ECE on left and NA on right.

there should be a way to code / enable the fogs but keep the tail light NA style

Alternatively, could I run a wire from the inner tail lamp harness to the outer indicator pin 2?

i'm not sure if it will work, but anyway if it'll work you will get fault messages.
just do it correct way as it should be.
