Hello,

my entrynav2 from X48 (1/2020) is defective (CID connector is defective).
If I install a used entrynav2 and then proceed as follows: 
- change VIN 
- coding
- delete old FSC (tool32, dev_uds.prg -> "hu_delete_persistency_new")
- install FSC (rep. FSC I already have)
Will it work like this or can it be that the entrynav2 blocks (component protection)?

Will need bench work.

if you are doing it not on bench (lik elthox wrote), you will get the component protection active.

I have another question. I had a similar problem a few years ago, but with EVO. It worked wonderfully then. Why doesn't it work with entrynav2?

it's different on X1 because of BDC where as bench is usually ZGW.

on the vehicle was also BDC and not ZGW.
What is the reason that sometimes the unit is blocked (component protection) and sometimes not?

Not always, I had the luck to get two entrevo units "virgin", on bench with ZGW, but I did the coding in car, only virginize and insert new FSCs with tool32/esys.

Depends on you from in Germany, I could try to help out. But there´s always a really big chance CP kicks in.
