Do you add two addition brake wires for left and right side inner lights to A258.

Connect branch F2 to plug A258 * 3B, pin 50.

Connect branch F4 to plug A258 * 3B, pin 38.

RE: G30 EU LCI tail lights retrofit coding
1) Update software to 03-2021
2) Add HELC to HO-WORT
3) Code BDC module
4) Make some changes manually (bimmercode can do this too):

BL_L_CCM: ccm_346 [01 5A]
BL_L_IS_LED: nicht_aktiv, default [00]
BL_L_MIN_PWM: 5% [05]
BL_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_aktiv [00]
BL_R_CCM: ccm_345 [01 59]
BL_R_IS_LED: nicht_aktiv, default [00]
BL_R_MIN_PWM: 5% [05]
BL_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_aktiv [00]

not sure if that's all but check it with take backup for original

Add HELC to FA, and update SW to actual I-Level. No FDL coding needed.

If your's i-Level is till 2021-03 , you need to code FDL what's @iyade46 texted . If your's I-Level is UP (or last), there's no FDL coding needed! Just add HELC to HO-WORT and code BDC

It is available also for second method install?

For Euro lights, you have three options:
1 Run a wire from the BDC module to Pin 4 inner
2 Run a jumper wire from Pin 4 inner to Pin 1 Outer (splice in as it is occupied).
3 IF you have a rear fog light wire (you would have five wires on the inner), you could move this at the BDC and move it to Pin 4 Inner.

Actually I always do original wiring as it should be (run two additional wires from hood to BDC) , then proceed iLevel update and add HELC to
HO as i stated before!
If some cars already comes to me with updated iLevel from dealer , i do the same and manually do FDL coding! That’s all.

Don’t use those adapters as BMW selling before for fix, it’s doesn’t fix anything
