XZBMW  MEVD 17.2.5 - fuel pump relay problem
Hello.

I have a problem with DME Mevd 17.2.5. The controller gives a voltage of 2.5 V to the fuel pump relay, as you know it should give ground. Could anyone tell me what component on the board is responsible for the fuel pump relay ??

Regards

most likely your car has a fuel pump control system (EKPS) from the ECU to this unit goes either a PWM signal or CAN, depending on the model

the car is a BMW F20 116i with an N13 engine.

There is no EKPS, only the fuel pump relay itself. The connection goes directly from the engine control unit to the relay

then the fuel pump is controlled by relay K12 with ECU connector 1B pin 17, but even on this model were installed EKPS units easy to check and this unit and the relay are installed in one place

The easiest option is to wire where goes the ECU connector 1B pin 17 and it will be clear what controls the relay K12

then the fuel pump is controlled by relay K12 with ECU connector 4B pin 17, but even on this model were installed EKPS units easy to check and this unit and the relay are installed in one place

for 100% there is no EKPS at this point and the control goes directly from DME as in the diagram below

try to see what the signal looks like directly on the ECU pin 17, perhaps the problem is in the wire that goes to the relay K12

Oki. I only checked the continuity of the wires between the controller and the relay, They are fine. I did not check the values at the controller. Tomorrow I will let you know.

Straight from DME comes 2.5 V on Pin 17

ECU disassembled need to wire where in the unit goes pin 17 and it will be clear what controls it.

Use a multimeter to check where pin 17 on the board goes.
