hello.. good day mates..
i have xprog-m 5.84, i accidentally use it with internet connection open.. now x-prog is not working, always popping device is silent/waiting certificate and stuck.. did some research and some says atmega64a was file damaged.. i did bought atmega64a repair chip from china, installled and working again. now i accidentally use it again with internet connection open.. i have extra 1 pc tmega64a repair chip.. can i just read the new and write the flash and eeprom directly to the mcu?.. i found some procedure posted by bimmeristi and dil6222 in this forum.. https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.p...=ATMEGA64A https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.p...t=atmega64 but these procedure are reflash and upgrade.. does these procedure applicable to xprog-m 5.84? thanks in advance for the help.. regards.. |

RE: XPROG-M 5.84/ATMEGA64A
I did not follow the links, but each Xprog version firmware in ATmega is unique. The ATmega is locked, read out the locked chip is garbage.

RE: XPROG-M 5.84/ATMEGA64A
all chips are locked, chinese are not fools to leave them opened. my advice use a atmega programmer and not another x-prog , pinout from any other version and reprogram your chips. in case your chips are locked as those of our colegue, unlock fuses first (chip will be erased) and then reprogram it.
If you think i helped you please do take 1 second and press THANKS button
