golf 6 tdi 2009
the car starts and drives ok

the problem is
just after starting the instrument cluster off
default is
[b]U1401 functional limitation due to overvoltage - sporadic[/b]

bad analyse voltage by micronas !!!

look at the voltage parameter in cluster with the engine stopped, it must be more than 2 or 3 volts in your case

this is UDS cluster 
swap cluster to latest NEC, even w/o immo match to check dtc

sorry I was wrong about the type of cluster because I had the case on an A3 8P micronas cluster

but the problem is the same
