Hello! Used 6WA for BMW with 160D0WT eeprom was read with CG Pro 9S12, i did mileage correction and erased VIN and installed in car. Cluster was coded, no red dot but every time i turn ignition on mileage increases with 5 Km without Red Dot Tamper. Soldering is double-checked, the problem is not there. Any ideas?

Thank you sir! Much appreciated! Just that your file contains donor VIN "0P96392". Car that needs to get the cluster is "0R35241". Should i just erase (replace with FF) this single 7 digits VIN?

Well, I did not compare the files you posted, I just assumed they were the same file only mileage modified.

So you're saying that if i write car mileage instead of "0" it should be fine? Should work?

No, you will still need to code it to the car ofcourse. So put inside the file you got, and then code the cluster to the car with e-sys, and it should work.

Yes, cluster still needs to be coded, that's for sure. It never hapened to me before with cluster that has zero mileage and VIN erased not to sync to CAS after coding. That is why i was wondering if mileage written to cluster is the same (close enough) to car mileage should solve this problem...

Ok, so nothing worked because the chip was broken. Couple of people that had this problem told me that 160D0WT is known to brick when is being erased. I`ve used new (blank) VVDI chip and now all is working. Problem solved! Thanks for all your help!
