adaptive LED headlights problem
Hello. I have f06 640i 2012 adaptive led headlights,,
car problem was right led module is fried and left module had low beam error.. We swapped modules from left to right and right headlight wokred high beam but no low beam so we figured the modules were faulty. So we bought 2 new led modules and installed on car.. Now left headlight works good.. But right headlight only blinker and angel eyes.. No error on ista.. I made led initialization on ista but also same cheked fues all good After placing 2 new modules.. Ista doesn't show any fault code.. With old modules it had low beam error on left.. And LIN LHM malfunction(disconnection) on right... Cluster would show all errors related to high low beams and adaptive.. Now all these errors are gone ista doesnt show any error code which makes it harder ps. this car doesnt show tms or lhm on ecus tree coz these modules are connected to frm though LIN , no can lines any ideas ?? |

Try to Flash each headlight ECU over ESYS , hope problem will be solved.

the headlights are pre lci ,, so modules of tms and lhm dont show up on ecu tree to be able to flash them.. cant be flashed or coded alone
they are connected to frm through LIN |

Most likely your headlight is damaged since module is on Lin Bus nothing you can do, ofcourse is you are sure Module is ok....

You have to replace the low beam part inside the headlight itself, its not about the module.

as stated ,, low beam error was solved after replacing LHM
when LHM is swapped all works perfect waiting for another LHM to get it installed |

Check wirings inside, should be damaged, known problem. Low/high beams work with errors or didn’t work at all.
