hi all.
i have a honda crv 2001 with ecu lost 2.0 vtec benzin automatic.
put new used one but car is immo on.
i try synch with x431 no luck
i know that immo box had code synch at address 0x35 is like  01 11 22 33 01 where 112233 is synch code.
Question=
Where synch code is located in ecu ?
is a 93c56x16bytes eeprom there.
so i have the immo with the key from the car and ecu from another.
i get immo communication fault D-2 in immo i think is for the synch problem and the diag wont let me do nothing.

If yes - there is not only immobox and ECU. Immo is stored in MICU (BCM) too.
And why you don`t post some ID from ECU or sticker?

In you ECU are 3 bytes of synchro located on adress 0x1E-0x20.

Maybe will be for you simply solution immo off - erase first line 0x00-0x0F to FF
But engine light will be on and i car have VSC, VSC lamp too.

is 2001 HONDA CR-V automatic gearbox ecu is KEIHIN 37820-pnb-r51 no immo pcb inside , is on the key barrell immo box HIS-5 ID48
If i make immo off limp mode and gearbox strange behavior so excluded.
can you help me?

Dou you think bcm is part of immo?
i read the bcm eeprom but i see nothing

i try it with no luck
if i try to write vin it say is not aplicable for this type of car
in ecu no error registered
in immo is comunnication with imoes error but this car have immo in the box barrel antenna.
if i put another key is recognized like no good key.
my launch is not capable to synch this
any change on ecu dump start car but gives me internal fault.
i asume that is checksum error.

Still first question - i suposse we speak about second generation of CRV?
I ask you becouse you write 2001 year of production and this is first generation.
But your ECU is used in second generation.
And there as I say isn`t only immo+key+ecu but MICU (BCM) too

On Honda you don`t need make anything manually, everything you can make with diagnostic equipment for example HIM, HDS or Launch.

You write about problem with imoes - this isn`t immobilizer problem but MICU (BCM)
First time do you try in special function relearn immoes (MICU)
Then you try relearn ECU. VIN don`t need change, relearn must be finalized with any VIN.
