Oil temperature coding ToolBox which model?
Hey guys, is it possible to code the oiltemperature instead of the momentary consumption? I’m using ToolBox
Is there a cheat sheet where all the engines are listed who work? I’ve tried it with a 231ps 330d, that didn’t work. Needle didn’t move. |

I’m using ToolBox What do you mean with values? The values for the temperature is ofc individual, just want to ask on which kombi for which engine this works. Sind on a kombi low with 330d engine it didn’t work. But if I did a manual input from 90degrees and set the needle, the needle was straight as it should be with the values I put in. But the car didn’t show it by itself |

which engine do you have?
I know for sure that on n57 engine oil temperature is not working. Instrument cluster doesn't receive that information from DDE over canbus. If I helped you please press thanks + rep button

on my e92 335d facelift, there was no oiltemp. data on the can-bus,cause there is no sensor. after coding "oiltemp. gauge" you could see the coolant temp instead. not as good as the oiltemp. but still better than no temp. at all.

We tried that, the cluster didn't show anything on kva. Did you use toolbox? |
