Is there a way to get an activation code for NBT EVO ID6 map update to 2022-2?

VIN of car is 0z10055

I was getting free map updates for a while but now it says insert correct usb with activation code (when trying to update to 2022-2)

Not sure if it still holds true or not, but some time ago you could generate a lifetime FSC code, even if it was for previous (like 2019 EVO) map versions, it would work as it is lifetime and would not ask for new key on further updates. There are lots of those FSC generators around and you need an FSC file which you can export from your car via USB stick or diagnostics software.

EDIT: Did some more digging into it and it seems that NBT EVO2 (ID5/ID6) require specific FSC certificates that are installed via USB drive and unlock your desired features. From a quick search it seems like there is no generally available generator for those files. Maybe someone in here with more resources can help you out with this. Otherwise, there are services at the internet that can generate those codes for you. I found many of those starting at $20.

For ID5/ID6 you need Tools like HU Engineering Tools + Feature Uploader to patch HU.

If your I-Level is not younger than 06/2019 you can patch you HU yourself using free HU Tools 2.6.

I have a usb code from 06.2020, which was valid until 06.2022, when it expired, clearly also the vin number, if someone arranges this I will gladly pay. I know the car repairer well, even though he is authorized by BMW, he will not harm me, probably when he updates the software once a year or two is enough for me to tell him not to update the navigation or anything? If anyone knows how to do this, please contact me in a private message.

you have to buy one more year of subscription from Connected Drive and it will work for maps released for the next year. ( from the point of subscription) this is how it worked for you up until now
