Thanks for enabling them but  I cannot see where I disabled PM's though?? I'll keep on looking but can't seem to find that setting in my profile options... Wasn't anything I did on purpose..

Is there some "simple" manual how to use DPS ? Some steps for one car and modules ?

I was reading online that I need xml files from online SPS dedicated for car VIN to change anything ? Is it true ?

Sorry for questions, but I am not clear about whole DPS usage process. I was testing on one car but it was not success

Could you please clarify, how can I used file from Global TIS - mentioned in first post ?
I have GT 25, GT 32 has newer files, I guess (I know it does not work offline) ?

There really isn't a 'simple' manual.. If you go here https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=61290 you will find 2 different manuals in english, one is for DPS and the other is the interpreter manual.. I use the interpreter manual to decipher what the utility file is doing and modify it, or create another one that sets up comms, unlocks, then writes the vin.. so far I have found 2 different ways. One is to use the vin entry in the get into page(VIT) where I type the vin in there and then program, the second way is to enter the vin(in hex) into the end of the utility file as a routine and have that vin programmed into the module. I haven't needed a xml file yet but you do need the utility file. That is grabbed from the sps cache files AFTER you program the module.. My experience thus far as been with engine ecu's thus far so cna't promise other modules are the same.

like as  tek1229 says, there are not manuals. DPS is a developer program. We should't be access to this app (the common people, you know)


in the thread that says teck1229, there are some documents necessary for understand the utility files and more.

The best is, have a bench test with used parts and try. needs a lot of time and is not easy and be patient


At this moment i trying a VIN SDM change and its imposible.  In other units, i have changed the PIN and VIN of the BCM, and in the IPC cluster perfectly.

And in my car (astra k) i enabled the anti theft alarm changin the calibrations of my BCM and i have the insignia B IPC working

For enabling Type4 App support - you just need to copy two .dll files to one particular folder.
It works for this v4.51 version too, as it did earlier.
