BMW G chassis / M35128WT options
Hello guys,
I have run into a problem that I need to install a donor instrument cluster for a 2017 G30 5 series, and am looking at options for virginizing cluster. From what I have read there are some M35128WT chips that have the mileage in the first 2 lines (incremental area) and other versions that do not have the mileage there. It seems like for the second option, there are options for erasing the mileage like enigma, acdp, cg pro (based off reading on websites) but for the first option with the mileage in the first 2 lines, are there any options besides using a chip emulator? I have some acdp simulator chips coming in to test that out, but would like to have a tool that does it natively. Thanks |

In the meantime since I'm just trying to put a used cluster for one that went out I transferred the 35128 chip from the original to donor. When the cluster comes up, it shows 0 mileage. I would've thought that it would be plug and play at that point but maybe not? I also should've tried transferring the whole plugin module in the back but I had already desoldered the chip. Anyone has gone through similar process? |
