After learning a bit more about BMW from these threads, I just thought of something that could possibly work for me. I know this has been discussed in a couple of other threads, but I don't know if my configurations will work the same, so just wanting to see if someone can confirm this for me?



I have a 2014 320i with the HU_ENTRY (I'm pretty sure that's what I have, small screen, no nav). I have BT Telephone, but not EBT. However, I DO have a combox in the trunk already. I have the USB and AUX input in the center console, as well as the mics. Does that mean that I can activate EBT by just coding? Or would I need to acquire additional parts? I was wondering about the Voice Activation as well, but I think I read that I need an App ID from BMW for that. I'm more interested in the EBT!

Any info would be greatly appreciated! It would sure as hell beat paying the 3rd party $200 to remotely code it for me!

So basically I can only activate the ability to stream music via bluetooth? That would be perfect since that's really all I'm after. I haven't experienced the BMW Apps yet, so for now

Write VIN, cause it is hard to help without it. If you got CIC and COMBOX it shouldn't be a problem.
