Is the new ecu complete with its own files, or has it been flashed with old sw ?

The original ECU is damaged. I cloned immo with Alientech, but the car does not start.

When you say you cloned the ecu with alientech, did you write software from one ecu  to the other ?

Yes, I was cloning from the old to the new ECU.
I have read now that I have IMMO in EEPROM and FLASCH saved.

Thats why it wont start.

You must use the original software that came with this ecu.

My solution is locked to the mcuid in the flash, you have changed the mcuid in the flash by writing a different ecu's software. So now the mcuid does not match this ecu and of course it wont start.

This is immo 6.

Good luck with your eprom and flash off from mhh.

Yes I gave you the method for immo 6.

But you cloned the new ecu with your old ecu files, you must not do this with medc17x ecu.
