Why not just try setting "HO-ICOM / ENET local Network" and leave ediabs.ini like it is?

Because that is how it is, and I was unable to identify under this configuration.

Happy to report back that after using Ediabas Konfigurator v2, which set the right ports for XEthernet (use second, ethernet cable option), now everything works just fine with the proper interface settings in ISTA.
