thanks for this code, but my friend called me and told that code doesnt work...is it possible?

Ask him to try this:

Procedure to enter code:
========================

1 - Switch off ignition and remove key

2 - Press and hold AS

3 - Insert key and turn until dash lights are lit (still hold AS)

4 - Wait for BEEP then release AS (may need to switch on radio)

5 - Enter code (3503) with 1-2-3-4

6 - Press AS untill BEEP

7 - Wait for radio to self tune

Hi, for the serial number supplied that code is correct,
if it's not working then either the serial number is incorrect or the radio has been recoded.
Please confirm that the serial number from the radio is: GM0500V9213215

If this number is correct then you'll either need to read the TMS370 mcu or use a K-LINE reader hooked up to the radio.
