Can't flash DME after BM3 CustomeROM BTLD_00001A90
If you flashed a DME with BM3 CUSTOMEROM Esys will no longer be able to read DME, it will show
Quote:btld0001A90 is not present on Base variant mappingI found the fix around on another forum Quote:Open folder psdzdata -> mapping Now it will be fine to read DME, but still you can't flash it it throws this error , even if you force flash DME. Quote:No entry in AuthenticationKeyFile is valid for given Bootloader-Id. ID=00001A90 [THROWABLE] I know we can flash it back to stock via bootmod, but lets say the account is not available anymore, how can we flash it back with Esys percisely. ISTA will ask to dissambele DME to proceed flash. All my knowledge is free for exchange with valuable information

RE: Can't flash DME after BM3 CustomeROM BTLD_00001A90
Short answer - you can't.
Long answer - you still can't. Unless you know authentication key, which is probably different in custom bootloader than in the stock one. If you would know one, you could write it to sec.xml (don't remember the exact file name now) and then MAYBE it would allow you to flash. As all the flashings we do using ESys/ISTA are actually done by bootloaders, you need their cooperation. P.S. This answer is written based on general knowledge, not BM2 specifically. But why else they would make custom bootloader... |

You can only write flash from similar car by tuning tool and then update it with esys. There is no other way

RE: Can't flash DME after BM3 CustomeROM BTLD_00001A90
We are talking about bootmod3 not Mhd,
I've never seen a bootmod change authorization keys, and it's not easy to do this via OBD. Can be programmed into stock through a slightly modified esys |
