RE: ODIS ENGINERIING PROBLEM DURING INSTALLATION
(18-11-2022, 09:10 AM)fantomel Wrote: reset his windows means restore from recovery partition. that install is stuck so better to find the log and see where it's stuck or as our colegue did , restore from recovery or reinstall. Hello Mr. Fantomel, I followed your suggestions ... I reinstalled Windows 11 PRO, with an image prior to the update to version 2H22, it is still the original Vas 6150C. The result is the same. though I apply Mr. Justdiag's changes, and run the installer as administrator. The installation always hangs in the Driver installation phase, because I noticed that part of the package in the C:\Progrmadata\... folder is installed, while the one in the C:\Programfiles\... folder is not completed, until it completes the driver installation phase. I must assume that I am forced to install the O.S. on the VAS 6150C. Windows 10 Pro. Are there any alternative solutions? Thanks for your advice |

RE: ODIS ENGINERIING PROBLEM DURING INSTALLATION
For me, he has pulled through the installation, previously made no update of Windows.
What amazes me is that we seem to be the only ones with the problem so far. Which manufacturer is your notebook from? |

RE: ODIS ENGINERIING PROBLEM DURING INSTALLATION
I had this problem on a W11 laptop.
Open taskmanager, you will see the process with the install setup (not the Odis Engineering Process!). If you expand that process, you will also see a CMD process. Kill that process and it will go further, then again it comes back. Kill it again. You will need to do this a couple of times and then the installation will go through. |

RE: ODIS ENGINERIING PROBLEM DURING INSTALLATION
Same, just end proces registry tool from task manager when it stops. It will execute next proces, if it stop again end registry tool from task manager. And best to have uninstalled VAS drivers from Control panel and programs...
