CID E-Series LCI 12v PIN
Hey guys,
I'm currently doing a CIC retrofit in my E82 (2011/08 LCI) which came with radio only. Everything is working so far, but I struggle with finding the right fuse/pin for the 12v of the display. I've looked the schematics for my modle up in Rheingold, but the information seems to be wrong. It says that the wiring on the junction box module at connector X14272 should be: Pin 1 -> 12V Pin 11 -> Can High Pin 27 -> Ground Pin 30 -> Can Low But when I look up the schematics for the junction box module itself, it says that Pin 1 isnt used. I also measured voltage in the car, but Pin 1 really seems to be dead. The corresponding Fuse 76 is already present in my car. Does someone know what could be the issue? I really wanted to avoid getting the 12+ from the quadlock connector. Thanks in advance for your help |

And again, we need to guess as question is without most critical information. What YEAR/MONTH your car was manufactured??? As an example, pre 2007/02 power to CID was supplied via fuse F61 from pin 37 of said connector. There are DIFFERENT junction box VERSIONS!!!!

As I said there are different versions. If your car has really little equipment pin 1 could be fed by F60 instead. Quite strange that you had F76 "already present" though.

RE: CID E-Series LCI 12v PIN
Okay, thanks for your reply. Will check the fuse. Yeah I've heard that from a few people, seems that my car even that it is E-Series got some parts/things which are more close to F-Series. Maybe because its just a few months before the last built E-Series.

I've tried the fuse but no lock. Pin 1 just seems to be dead. For now I've hooked up directly at a fuse with "fuse adapter".
