SOLVED: I found the problem,it's not related to coding or programming.Everything is running smoothly in the car now.


Hello 

Yesterday I wanted to update all the control units of my car with ISTA-P.For this, I connected with ICOM and supplemented the battery.

I started the processes,the battery voltage sometimes dropped below 13V, it gave errors in some units, and the coding did not program.

After the procedures were finished, I saw that there was a problem with the CCC unit and the Airbag unit.

I wanted to flash these units again with WinFKP, but it constantly gave errors.

NCSExpert cannot read CAS and LMA units.Gave VIN Faulty error.

The car did not start 1 time yesterday.The steering wheel with a red mark and the lock icon appeared on the indicator.When I connected with ISTA, DDE-CAS asked me to set the setting and removed the EWS lock.Then the car started, but the same locked steering wheel icon continues to appear on the indicator.



-Car working not problem,lights,windows working..Transmission etc not problem..


Just airbag fault on indicator and small screen ccc not working.



What we have tried so far:

-I wanted to reconnect with ISTA-P and do programming, but I couldn't find the chassis number, I entered the chassis manually.This time he gave an error that the Work order was not found,and did not continue the operations.

-We wanted to find the part number of the units with INPA and flash them again, but error 202 gave the error.

i can't think of anything else I can do, does anyone have an idea? if someone can connect remotely and do it, I can also pay, it's okay, but I want the problem solved.( I have ICOM,Most can adapter,kdcan cable)

What's the point in connecting remotely to you if you DON'T HAVE PROPER power supply??? Go somewhere where they have proper equipment to do the job.

P.S. So which one IS IT: CCC OR Mask??? If CCC, then it's quite normal for them to die during flashing. Even with proper equipment.

No problem finding a good power source.Me and my friends couldn't find the solution.

Your WinKFP problem looks like no data installed (or not installed properly). Because those part #/ZUSB # are really correct for Mask. I wonder if NCS problem is the same... Anyway flashing E60 nowadays is a REALLY BAD IDEA. I mean if it's Mask, its like 15 years old now...

I could try to help, but I have not flashed E series for many years now. It's just not worth the trouble. And hence my knowledge is quite rusty... Maybe there is someone who still works on these.

I couldn't Decipher the connection between CAS and airbag.The part number is correct, but it does not flash the airbag unit.

I'm not an expert on the E series, but from what I've read I think my problem is ISTA-P can't read the VO codes in the vehicle right now.

The CCC screen doesn't matter, I'll get it done somehow, but I don't know how to solve other problems.As a last resort, I will disassemble the CAS and try to read and rewrite the eeprom.

I remember reading somewhere that ISTAP save a copy of the VO. Dont remember where specifically. If not maybe try using ncsexpert .ssd file and write correct VO. PM i can take a look if you want.

Yesterday, a friend of mine tried to make an ssd, but he did not succeed.

That ssd file is incorrect. the type code and chassis number dont match. also the vehicle model is wrong. According to vin number its supposed to be E61 and in file its E60

How so? ETK says it's E60!

You can try this file. Extract, rename to xmldb.xml and give to ISTA-P. This is my first try to make such a file

the typecode PX52 is E61
