dear friends,

it seems i solved te problem DELETING the "BMW Group" folder in C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming. It contains the folder of the loader. so if you delete your loader temp files, seems that you can install every update without problems.

so now i am installing the remaining updates and i will let you know.

I wonder why that works?? These files must be overriding the one installed in program data.

I'm new in this ISPI,ISTA,etc world
I manage to install with success BMW ISPI NEXT 3.47.10 + ISTA-P 54.3.002 posted by Mr. TizWaz here in forum,even updated ISTA-D to 3.48.30 and is working ok(for sure is the beginner luck).Now I wish to update to version posted here in this topic .I know is not a job for beginners like me but I wish try .So my question is : do I need again to apply all those fixes again or is enough to install as an usual program?I have no place for an backup of already good , working installation , so I wish to go in full(not my intention to be rude).By other side I not wish to force my beginner luck,and better I stay on my ass,instead to broke my work
Any advice will be well come

i've tried to apply first update but it failed - rolling back action. i have already copied applicationconfig.xml from c:\users.... to program files. never ran program before doing update.

renaming bmw group folder from c:\users should be ok or it is risky as it contains more settings...

Hello gurus
Still insist to made it with my hands , and seems I broke all I have lol.So,first I try to replace those two xml files but this way turn me back to old version , second way was good(to delete BMW Group folder from his place) and I can update to 3.55.0.300,but wen I try to update to 3.55.1.001 after few seconds I get the message from pic.nr3.
Other pictures nr1&2 are from folder where xml files are.
Maybe someone can advice me what to do with that error , to be able to go furter

Thanks , but now is late(not have trust in so much problem,better work two times instead having problem wen I use program) already I erased all,fresh W7 and begin again from 3.54.0.300,but for my soul , wen is need to apply that tool(in case I will have again that error) , and where are located temp.files for this install ?Ask you this cause before begin update to 3.55.0.300,I check my space on HDD and was 30 GB free,and after update ,was same free space,like nothing was installed,or files were overwritten ?

This tool is only copy files from loader folder to ista-p folder.
But if I not use loader there is no such folder.

What to do if I start ista-p from native icon but can't install updates?

Hello guys
I installed all ok till the end and seems worked,but still I did a mistake .I intended to update ISTA-D to 3.48.30 but from mistake I install 3.49.30 who is moving slow like hell even with SQLiteDB from 3.48.30 for EN language(so seems not the language pack is guilty).Wen I saw what I did,I over install right 3.48.30 and worked in ISPI Admin Client is seen to be 3.48.30,but in try to open program,I need to wait same as for 3.49.xxx
How can I uninstall just ISTA-D so to not affect other installation(ISTA-P),and install back the right version I need?
