Ista+ 4.32.15 too slow
Hello to all.
I had installed ista+ 4.32.15 standalone version with 4.39 program data and everything worked pretty fast.
I decided to update to the latest program data 4.45 with the blp and sq db and everything beside the main ista app.
Now ista works but is incredibly slow. Can someone pinpoint why this is happening?
As i see it the volume of the files are very similar.
It just takes ages to read abl files while doing the vehicle test.
I am using enet cable as i always used in my F10

Thank you all

RE: Ista+ 4.32.15 too slow
Are you guys even search/read anything here, or just post ALMOST IDENTICAL questions???

https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.p...#pid661388

Not talking about mismatch between actual ABL binaries and databases, BMW ALSO sometimes changes structure of data/indices in the sqlites, etc. This has TRAGIC consequences on the speed (and you are REALLY LUCKY it still WORKS at all*), as you JUST MUST ask the SAME things!!!

* Well I guess it works on F10 as it's really old car and it's diagnosis changes little, but it will FOR SURE not work PROPERLY on any modern car.

P.S. There is NEXT TO NOTHING to gain updating sqlites to mismatching version. Well, except maybe for masochists there is something to gain - a LOT OF problems biggrin

Well that is the answer !!!
Can you please answer one more question? Can I downgrade to the original databases to avoid reinstall?

RE: Ista+ 4.32.15 too slow
Of course you can. Now HOW depends on whether you use launcher console or some other way.

RE: Ista+ 4.32.15 too slow
I am using ista launcher console to update I think that I will use the same method to downgrade. The procedure is the same as updating or I must do something else maybe ?
I could do it manually also if it simpler.

RE: Ista+ 4.32.15 too slow
You need to delete version data of your sqlites from registry first.

RE: Ista+ 4.32.15 too slow
Ok just to clarify. You mean language dbs. Is something else other than these that I must replace ?
Any other dbs I mean.
