XZBMW  ista programming data problem
hi guys , after installation ista i have this error. bad copy , bad installation ?? all installed without a problem.

RE: ista programming data problem
Fix "The programming system could not be initialised. The ISTA installation may be damaged or incorrectly configured. Reinstall ISTA. If problems persist, contact local support." error:

1. uninstall ISTA
2. remove all ISTA keys from registry:
a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BMWGroup\ISPI\ISTA
b. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BMWGroup\ISPI\Rheingold
c. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BMWGroup\ISPI\Rheingold
3. remove all files from ISTA installdirectory
4. reinstall ISTA

make sure you have all the correct folders under sqlite-db's. i have same issues as most dl's only have the diag stuff to save space.

RE: ista programming data problem
I found this on Sedoy's with a proper install, only on F series and above, it never moans on E series that don't use the data anyway
