But the others need to go to the seat module because those are sent over ckan as can signals. Because the modules are not present it results monitoring faults. only solution was to connect the ecu's but dismantle the harness from the chairs and leave them all blank in the car. Then I just had to code out the seatbelts and airbags. Ended up with some errors in ista but nothing in the car. I will try to fdl code them out just for the sake of it. The errors in ista are LIN message of the BDC being received from the seat heater buttons and 2 errors saying seat controls are not connected (i didnt save a screenshot) one more question stays, since latest bmws do OTA updates i could it happen that these codings will be defaulted on this X7? |

And yet. I had the same case of igue, I just connected the two cables together (to make the BDC believe that the swtch is closed) and it was in order

The BDC side i figured out, thats easy but X7 also has some locks connected to the Module. And if the module is removed they cannot be monitored, resulting in the error i ended with. |

RE: G07 removed rear seats and buckle coding
All was connected and 0 errors in ista. Started the car, and after starting the car we started getting rear seats unlocked messages again... I guess the "unlocked" messages are not errors so nothing in ista.
I am so done with this... Strangly no error on right rear seat. I tested with removing the jumper cables i connected as per diagram... nothing changed at all.. EDIT: i found another code to deactivate 2nd and third row... not sure if this is something usefull. I might try it... I also attached the seat ecu fwl. I think in here I need to code out the locks also its called: G05_07_SR2_SR3_AKTIVIERUNG: Here i can deactivate the seats in the modules... see attachment. |
