Golf MK5 2008 - Cruise Control Retrofit Problem
Hello guys,


maybe someone can help me out here.
I wanted to retrofit in to my wifes car cruise control.
The lever is built in and coded with VCDS. Coded in Engine and Steering Column Unit
On measurements its detected but it dont work when pressed.

Pin 13 with a Black White wire is also connected on the steering control unit
The part number of the steering unit column is: 1K0 953 549 BN  

I hope someone can help me out.

Configuration


Update Steering Column Control Module (J527 / #16) Coding.
Due to different Control Modules and Equipment in the Car the actual Coding Table is not shown here but will automatically be shown once you access the Coding Function using VCDS.
Update the Engine Control Module (J623 / #01) Coding.
Make sure that the Engine is NOT running, otherwise the new Coding will be rejected. Models equipped with Start/Stop System do have a Shutoff Switch/Button which will deactivate the Start/Stop Function.
As a Rule of Thumb, if the Engine Control Module uses a Short Coding the Activation is being done using Coding-II. If the Engine Control Module uses a Long Coding the Activation is done in (Long) Coding itself. Please also note that there are different Coding Variants for Long Coding.
Due to different Control Modules and Equipment in the Car the actual Coding Table is not shown here but will automatically be used by the Long Coding Assistant once you access the Function using VCDS.

11463 was accepted by the ecu
do i need to do anything else after 11463 in ecu ?

in longcoding there was type of vw and gear box if 5 or 6 speed.

is the cable to the ECU engine there, some golf 5 is not there.
what is the year of manufacture of the golf?
