PPeugeot  206 Jaeger vs Xprog 5.51 and Digiprog 3 [ Solved ]
Hi to all!

First, I want to clarify that is the first time I´m using X-prog 5.51 and first time Digiprog 4.94, both chinese clones.

I want to read the MC68HC(7)05H12 with mask 0H57A but tried with both with NO success.

What I did was:

XPROG
1 - connected X-prog according with attached scheme.
2 - tried with and without 12v on xprog
3 - changed USB cable and FTDI driver. Change from COM5 to COM2.
Result: Always get error DEVICE IS SILENT

DIGIPROG
1 - Since I don´t have the ST 28 adapter I´ve used the pinout on the web:
ST 28 AMP-929650-2
yellow 9 yellow
green 10 green
brown 13 11
white 20 white
yellow 25 10
white 25 5
IF SOMEONE HAS THIS ADAPTER (28), CAN CONFIRM CONNECTIONS PLEASE?
2 - I used the scheme as attached PDF.
Result: READ ERROR

NYO4 says:
POWER
pin 5 is VCC 12v
pin 11 is GND

Should I have to feed direct 12v to AMP plug on cluster ???

Thanks in advance for helping me on this quest Smile

UPDATE: I´ve tried to power cluster with 12v and read with xprog but result is the same: DEVICE IS SILENT.

If you try with xprog try to lift up Vppr/IRQ pin from pcb and look for correct oscillator settings

Thanks for you help. I know I should have an oscillator (and know how to use it), but I don´t.... And I see everywhere that can be read in circuit without lifting pin with x-prog...

Should I feed direct 9v to IRQ pin?

Yes, I have
I do not see in Xprog the scheme to the MCU.
The best and safest way to unsolder it and connect to the adapter
Such combinations may end up damaging the MCU or its contents

I noticed I have that adapter too....

But, does that mean that IS NOT possible to read this mcu in-circuit?

RE: 206 Jaeger vs Xprog 5.51 and Digiprog 3 - SOLVED
I sorted it out!!!!

I was able to read/write with DIGIPROG, but only lifting up pin 46 from the pcb.

With xprog I had no success but I will never know if I could be able to read if I did the same.

Thanks all that tried to provide some help!
