F90 used MGU
Hi,
I have car in wchich original MGU was stolen. I buyed used one, programmed it to car with S15A-20-07-525 an now want to unblock it beacuse have component protection. Car is 07/2019, MGU version is ID7_2007. Is it possible to adapt this unit to my car ? |

As far as I know, it is possible to use only the new MGU.
Although there are rumors that someone was able to reset MGU on the bench, but I'm not familiar with him |

You need to have Online AOS and get certs , so if your used mgu was stolen and it is on bmw database, you can have your acc suspend, or some other problems. So be carefully with used ones

I connected today and there is no fsc for this. This can only be solved by the technical helpdesk.
I wouldn't touch it unless it is a new mgu or you know the history of it. MGU virgin and patching in Europa.

I do not know where the customer got this device, so let him go to the dealer himself and risk it. With AOS is impossible to do this job.
